my vision beyond fancy whips

to the master’s whips

my faith so strong

yeah, it can suffer a couple slips

your faith non-existent

someone forgot

the packaging slip

my love for God

as secure as vice grips

you’re agnostic at best

still dealing with peeps

who don’t know it’s wrong to grip

so flip the script your life ain’t no tale from the crypt, reflected correctly your story could easily uplift, too bad your thoughts too thrift, in your mind so weak you’re left to grift, not so swift, probably read this and go “pffft”, it’s okay, the truth emerges, whether or not you sift
